How do I register for the conference?

You can print out the registration form as a PDF file (you must have Acrobat Reader on your computer to be able to open the PDF file). After completing the form, you may email it as an attachment or mail it or fax it.


Can I register at the conference?

All registration fees must be prepaid before the conference.

How do I submit a workshop proposal?

When was the first conference?

This “SER” conference is the first of its kind co-hosted by the National Council of Hispano Deaf and Hard of Hearing (NCHDHH) and the Latino Deaf and Hard of Hearing Association of the Metropolitan DC Area (LDHHAMDC).

Is the Gala included in the registration?

Yes. But if you do not want to attend any session, the gala is $50 for members, students & senior citizens (at age of 62 or up) and $60 for non-members. The gala will be $80 for members, students & senior citizen (at age of 62 or up) and $100 for non-members, effective September 12th . Remember, the GALA ticket purchase DEADLINE - Sept 30th


Are children allowed at the Gala?

What is the dress code for the Gala?

There are two options: a cultural outfit (example, a native Mexican outfit) or a formal dress.


Can I visit the exhibit hall without registering for the conference?

Yes


Can I volunteer at the conference?

Yes, you may! Please email us at nchdhhconference2007@ldhhamdc.org. Expenses are not included in volunteering.


Is childcare available?

No, we don’t provide childcare.


Do you have a letter I can show my boss why I should go to the NCHDHH’s SER Conference?

How can my organization become a sponsor?

Can I have a roommate at GUKCC?

Yes! Please email us at logding@ldhhamdc.org if you need assistance in locating a roommate.


What is a roundtable discussion?

It is an open forum on a specific topic, and the participants have the ability to participate freely as they wish. The goal of a roundtable discussion is to discuss the issue and agree on resolutions.

Full page = $250
Half page = $150

What is the cost of an exhibition booth at the conference?

For a profit organization, it is $500. For a non-profit organization, it is $250. Send the request and payment inquiry to nchdhhconference2007@ldhhamdc.org
